Rachel Taylor - Co-President
Rachel cut her teeth in an innovation team at a UK advertising agency where she designed location data strategies and sourced ad tech start-ups. At Rotman she has specialized in Business Design and Behavioural Economics so that she can design products, services and systems that help solve human centred challenges. Fun fact, when not whiteboarding, Rachel volunteers as a mentor or can be found in any outside space, preferably hiking snowboarding or swing dancing.
Vanessa Boyce - Co-President
Vanessa grew up in Quebec, Canada. She studied Psychology and Graphic Design, and is determined to focus her efforts on integrating Business Design and Diversity & Inclusion through her MBA. Fun fact, Vanessa is a photographer on her spare time and pugs are her spirit animal.

Asli Zayim - VP Industry
Asli is originally from Istanbul where she studied Industrial Engineering and Psychology. Before MBA, she worked in the tobacco retail industry where she managed commercial and strategic planning of product launches across Israel, Europe, Russia and Central Asia. Fun fact: Asli is also an avid traveller (visited over 35 countries) and loves camping!
Josh Samadi - VP Industry Relations
Josh has been working as project engineer/ project manager for the past 10 years in different industries such as mining, waste water and construction. He has always been passionate about innovation, to help organizations develop new ideas, competitive advantage and assist them to design business strategies to deliver sustainable growth. Fun Fact: He has been playing violin for more than 20 years !
Sonakshi Bhattacharya - VP Strategic Partnerships
Sonakshi grew up across 5 cities in India. Prior to Rotman she spent 7 years at a tech start up, working in business development. Through her MBA journey, she aspires to understand how Business Design can help bring about organizational change. Fun Fact, when not thinking about life, she is probably drawing a comic about life.
Jessica grew up on the beaches of Los Angeles and has a degree in Anthropology from UC Berkeley. She loves bridging traditional business analytics with human centered design and empathy through Business Design. Fun Fact, Jessica cannot decide what she loves more: coffee, red wine or skiing.
Joe is a native Brit, hailing from Derby, in the UK, and lived in Pittsburgh in the USA before moving to Canada. He loves design strategy, decision-making research, and using behavioural insights to create better experiences and help people make better choices! When not at work, he enjoys spending time outdoors, playing sports, or reading. Fun Fact: Joe was once added into a Facebook group with 100+ other people, all named Joe Smith.
